First
held a violin at 10 years of age. Interest was sparked one day when the elementary school orchestra teacher was recruiting students. On that day a fire was ignited -- a fire which has burned brightly and never died.
First professional job (18 years of age) was a dinner gala at a local auction. While playing "fiddle tunes" at the high school talent show a member of the audience, a local auctioneer, was so impressed with him that she offered him a job as a strolling violinist. As a senior in high school, was the recipient of the Prince William County Public Schools Music Achievement Award.
Served as a violinist in the George Mason Symphony Orchestra and the Prince George's Philharmonic. Also played with various rock bands. Made a music video with a band in which he composed and played lead electric violin. Played guitar with another band touring the D.C. area. Served as lead singer for yet another band in the D.C area. During this time, he was still being asked to play the violin at weddings. With the revelation that he can "never escape the violin" he now performs exclusively as a solo violinist. Composes and performs own music with all of his original fire as well as unaccompanied arrangements of J.S. Bach, W.A. Mozart, and other composers. There is also some bluegrass and rock! People comment that this show is more "engergized" than the typical violin concert. Still performs frequently in the D.C. area and gives concerts entirely without accompaniment!
